As a photographer, I explore my creative side while meeting cool people and improving my communication skills. As an account manager I keep in touch with clients and try the best to follow and satisfy their requirements, therefore, teamwork is the key for all my current activities. Also, I like to travel, explore new places and seek inner peace.

Cred că liniștea interioară și mulțumirea vin din pasiunile pe care le cultivi. Poti fi impacat cu tine însuți atunci cand gasesti bucurie in ceea ce faci. Cand regasesti lumea cu ochii copilului care o descopera pentru prima data. Cred ca poti cunoaste cu adevarat fericirea cand reușești sa faci din pasiunea ta un mod de viață. Într-o zi, am trecut pe lângă un magazin. În vitrina lui, mi-a făcut cu ochiul un ghem de lână, cu o culoare nespus de frumoasă. Cred că e bine uneori să te lași ghidat de impuls, așa că nu am stat prea mult pe gânduri și am cumpărat ghemul acela. Cum am ajuns însă acasă, m-am așezat în fața calculatorului și am uitat complet de mica mea descoperire. Avea să treacă ceva până când l-am regăsit. Și mai mult până să îi înțeleg rostul. Dar cu el a început totul. Ușor-ușor am descoperit cât de mult îmi place să împletesc. Am tricotat cu drag cele mai delicate props-uri pentru micii clienți ai Photo Studio – Marian Sterea. Pasiunea mea pentru fotografie a crescut în timpul acesta. Iar dragostea pentru lucrurile tricotate s-a împletit cu fotografia pentru nou-nascuți. Acum, uitându-ma în urmă, cred că în vitrina aceea, am găsit de fapt, propriul fir al Ariadnei.

I'm a professional real-time graphic designer with experience in broadcast television and live real-time displays using Orad and Wasp 3D. I'm a real-time graphics department supervisor and team leader responsible for the implementation of 2D/3D graphics into a real-time live broadcast environment and for building and supporting complex real-time projects including: elections, news shows and sports. I'm also an awarded wedding photographer and co-owner of Cromatica Photography, ranked as Top 50 Fearless Photographers of 2014 (fearlessphotographers.com). I'm also a managing partner at Portalo Creative Group, the organizer of WEDDCAMP, one of the most important wedding photography events in Eastern Europe.

For the past seven years of my life I have photographed people. To me it’s an important act of mutual trust, connection and understanding. Every time I use my camera, I search for and celebrate love, kindness, friendship, compassion & creativity. And not only those things but everything which defines us as human. Like so many people, I’m not completely comfortable when a camera is pointed in my direction, I suddenly become aware of my expression, my movements, I wonder what to do with my hands and inevitably I put on the “photo face” (we all have one!).

Being a photographer doesn’t mean being a master in technique, owning the newest cameras, it`s just about feeling the light! In my case, the words of Anabella Williams stands: “Photography is 90% psychology and only 10% technique”. I have learned on my own reading books and practicing a lot. I like competitions. Not for the awards, but for that beautiful state of mind I have when people that I consider professionals give me their vote of confidence. It is always nice to see clients that value my work, but the subjectivism of a person who is the character of a photo is greater than the one from an uninvolved professional, the one that looks with a critical eye at the work of another professional. This is the main reason I enter competitions; they represent an objective, a view of my work. Through these years, I have won many national and international awards, among which: the photography of the year 2012 – Nikon Romania, with a wedding photography, top 50 Fearless Photographers selection – very talented photographers worldwide, WPPI, ISPWP, SWPP, The MPA, Wedding Photographer Society. I am very proud to be a part of Phottix Pro Team, who have named me a Phottix Ambasador.

Marius este fotograf de nunta de mai bine de 8 ani, a lucrat in presa si a colaborat cu diferite agentii, este pasionat de marketing digital, iar in timpul liber fotografiaza pe strada. Este co-fondator al PHOTOCHIC.RO si al WEDDCAMP, fondator al Marius Tudor Photography si managing partner al Portalo Creative Group.
